Passport valid for 3 months beyond the applicant’s last day in France (+ 1 photocopy) YOUR PASSPORT MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO BLANK VISA PAGES REMAINING
1 Long Stay application forms
- Long stay application form
- Long stay (translation)
1 passport-size photograph (color or black and white, clear background)
For non US citizens, Proof of residency in the US (+ 1 photocopy)
Internship agreement (convention de stage) approved by the French Labor Department (DDTEFP) (+1 photocopy)

Financial guarantee such as a notarized statement certifying that the applicant will receive a monthly allowance of 800 US dollars for the duration of her/his stay in France and last 3 bank statements, or a proof of personal income and last 3 bank statements + photocopy of each
Flight Itinerary + 1 photocopy
The French Consulate reserves the right to ask for more documentation if necessary.
