L’Alliance Française in Hawaii

This chapter of the French Alliance was formed in 1961 and was officially incorporated in January 1962. Its aim is to encourage the study of French language and culture in Hawaii. It encourages and supports programs to enable students and teachers from Hawaii to study in France or French-speaking countries.

The French Alliance of Hawaii is managed by officers elected for one year at the annual meeting by the Board of Directory. The directors and officers are not paid. Committee chairs are selected by the president and approved by the Board of Directors.
