- facilitate you in your administrative requests by directly delivering life certificates and certificates of residency, by legalizing or certifying your signature, by certifying in accordance with the original translation documents or copies, by accomplishing all necessary formalities relating to the transportation of the body or of ashes, by receiving proxies of vote
- provide you with your passport or your identity card, which you will have asked for in advance from the Consulate General of France in San Francisco or duringvisits from an agent belonging to the Consulate, concerning ID cards
This consular agency cannot :
- Accept passport requests, national ID cards, VISAS or any pass (laissez-passez)
- Receive or transmit any requests concerning the public records, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates and death certificates

Created in 1986, the French-American Chamber of Commerce of the North-West Pacific (FACCNWP) is an independent not-for-profit directed by its members. She promotes the French-American business community in the region, and support the French and American companies in their willing to settle. L’Alliance Française in Seattle has succeeded in 1987 to the Seattle Cercle Français which had been for more than 50 years in the region.
This local chapter of the Alliance Française develops programs and activities for the public and aims to promote the French and French-speaking cultures the region. It is also part of the category FRAMES. Those Alliances Françaises which belong to this category offer cultural and social events, and resources on the French language and the French-speaking cultures. These Alliances also develop programs of French classes that are currently in accordance with the norms of the Fondation Alliance Française.

UFE Seattle is the local representation of the Union des Français de l’Etranger (union of french nationals expatriates), a not-for-profit, apolitical and non-religious organization.
There are now 12 UFE representations in the US, UFE Seattle being its newest member. UFE exists since 1927 and is present in 100 countries through more than 170 representations world-wide.
