In music, the BERKELEY EARLY MUSIC FESTIVAL & EXHIBITION is offering a remarkable array of French composers on its FRINGE stages… And MARC-ANDRE HAMELIN performs with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, including music by DEBUSSY…

Or, hear the SAN FRANCISCO GIRLS CHORUS perform works by DEBUSSY, while the KENSINGTON SYMPHONY performs works by BIZET and Swiss conductor CHARLES DUTOIT conducts RAVEL and DEBUSSY… Check out DJANGOFEST at 142 Throckmorton in Mill Valley! On a related note, LE JAZZ HOT plays at Le Colonial in San Francisco…TOM RIGNEY & FLAMBEAU perform in Concord… And the French band KABBALAH plays Klezmer at Ashkenaz, while TINARIWEN performs in the SFJAZZ season…
